IFRPD Welcomes Academic Delegation from Montpellier, France, to Forge Research and Internship Partnerships

 

May 7, 2026 – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anuvat Jangchud, Director of the Institute of Food Research and Product Development (IFRPD), alongside the executive team and staff, warmly welcomed a distinguished academic delegation from Montpellier, French Republic. The meeting took place at the Meeting Room no.214, Amorn Bhumiratana Building, Kasetsart University, Bangkhen.

The delegation comprised representatives from three renowned institutions:
   - Institut Agro Montpellier
   - Polytech Montpellier
   - University of Montpellier

Researchers from the Kasetsart Agricultural and Agro-Industrial Product Improvement Institute (KAPI) also attended the meeting. The discussion focused on establishing robust academic and research collaborations, staff exchange programs, and hosting French internship students in the fields of Food Science and Biological Engineering.

During the meeting, researchers from IFRPD’s Applied Microbiology Department presented their cutting-edge research to the delegation:
   - Ms. Kanyarat Kanyakam (Researcher (Professional Level)) presented on "Identity-Driven Thai Fruit Wines."
   - Dr. Jutamat Klinsoda (Researcher (Senior Professional Level)) presented on "Validated Bioactivity: The Path from Raw Biomass to Metabolic Health."

This visit marks a significant step forward in strengthening international partnerships and driving global innovation in food and biological sciences.
