May 15, 2026 – Dr. Hathaichanok Kantrong, Deputy Director of the Institute of Food Research and Product Development (IFRPD), representing the institute, warmly welcomed a distinguished delegation of educational and research institutions from the French Republic during their official visit to Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus.

This visit was part of the prestigious international symposium, "2026 Thailand–France International Collaboration: Franco-Thai Symposium on Higher Education, Research and Innovation," held from May 14–15, 2026, in Bangkok. The symposium aimed to promote, strengthen, and drive forward-looking collaborations in higher education, research, and innovation between Thailand and France.

On this auspicious occasion, IFRPD presented "KU Food" gift baskets—featuring the institute's signature food innovations—as a token of appreciation and to foster enduring relations. The gifts were presented to Dr. Ludovic ANDRES (Attaché for Scientific and Higher Education Cooperation, Embassy of France in Thailand) and a representative from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), who honorably accompanied the delegation.
